Mid/Long Distance Program

Program Description

Do you just love to run? So do we! Come join our mid/long distance group and meet like minded athletes who just can’t get enough!

Our mid/long distance program caters to athletes interested in training for events over 400m, including 400mH and cross country. The program will help develop efficient running mechanics and prepare you for competition.

Details

Coach: Raeleen Hunter, Rob Fisher

Age: Athletes aged 16 and up (born 2010 or earlier)

Groups: Edmonton and Sherwood Park

Training Details:

Sept/October (Cross country/base training) – various locations around Edmonton

Nov – March (Indoor Season) – training locations may include Foote Field Dome and UofA Butterdome

April – July (Outdoor Season) – training locations may include Foote Field
