From Fundamentals to World Class
Fun fact of the day – Capital City is one of the few clubs in Edmonton to offer programs from the fundamentals to world class performance.
At a provincial level, our junior development athletes are constantly on the podium, selected for provincial teams and going to Nationals. Our development athletes are doing the same, but also being signed by various universities across Canada and the US.
At the high performance level, multiple high performance athletes make up the program and are constantly in consideration for national teams. For example, in August 2023, Malachi Murray and Grace Konrad – were selected to attend the World Championships in Budapest, Hungary. In August 2024, Malachi Murray was selected to Team Canada for the Paris Olympics. Additionally, one of our high performance coaches, Rob Fisher, was also selected to Team Canada multiple times in 2024 alone.
Whether you are looking to have some fun and see what you can do, or you’re looking to be the next Cap City athlete to compete at the high performance level, we will help get you there! Come check us out and see what we’re about!
