Welcome To One of Alberta’s Most Successful Track and Field Clubs

With over 30 years of history behind us, Capital City Track Club has an established place in the athletics community in Edmonton and Sherwood Park and are always working to grow our sport in the central Alberta region.

The club offers a full range of programs for athletes aged 8 and up – from the learning stages of Run, Jump, Throw all the way to High Performance.  All of Capital City’s programs support the Long Term Athlete Development (LTAD) model set by Athletics Canada for optimal training and development. The coaching staff have the capability to coach all track and field disciplines (sprints, endurance, jumps and throws) and at all levels (provincial to international).

Annual General Meeting 2022

The annual general meeting will be held September 27, 2022 from 7:30-8:30pm at Saville Community Sports Centre in Classroom #4 (overlooking the basketball courts).

Sherwood Park Track Classic

Published July 29, 2022 Capital City Track Club hosted the Sherwood Park Track Classic on July 22-24, 2022 at Strathcona Athletic Park.
